Sponsored cycle ride from Land’s End to John O’Groats, July 2009

Helen and Emma are doing a sponsored cycle ride from Land’s End to John O’Groats (approx 1,000 miles) in aid of Second Chance Headway, 11th - 24th July 2009.

Some of you will remember Helen’s partner Roger Prince, who died suddenly from a brain haemorrhage in 2004 and we are supporting this charity in his home town that his mum now volunteers for.

Second Chance Headway http://www.schc.co.uk/ are a support group with a day centre situated in the grounds of Pinderfields General Hospital, Wakefield, providing support and guidance to survivors of head injury and their families. They support those who have sustained severe brain damage in road traffic accidents, falls at home or work, sporting accidents and assaults.
